OLYRIA Furniture Warranty Policy

OLYRIA provides a 3-year structural warranty on its furniture, covering defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase. This warranty is valid only for the initial purchaser and applies when the furniture is used for its intended residential purpose. Commercial or heavy-duty use is not covered under this warranty.

What the Warranty Covers

The warranty applies to structural defects arising from manufacturing or material faults. At its discretion, OLYRIA may choose to repair or replace the defective product or component. All warranty services will be carried out by OLYRIA or an authorized service partner.

Proof of Purchase Requirement

To submit a warranty claim, the customer must provide the original tax invoice or proof of purchase. Claims cannot be processed without valid documentation.

Natural Characteristics of Materials

Furniture made from natural timber and leather will display unique characteristics. Variations in grain pattern, colour, texture, and natural features such as small knots are inherent to these materials and are not considered defects when professionally finished.

Situations Not Covered Under Warranty

This warranty does not apply in the following circumstances:

  • Damage caused after the furniture has been delivered, inspected, and accepted in good condition
  • Scratches, dents, or surface marks occurring after delivery
  • Normal wear and tear over time, including gradual colour changes in timber or natural movement such as expansion or contraction due to environmental conditions
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or improper care
  • Issues resulting from unauthorized modifications, repairs, alterations, or incorrect assembly
  • Marks, stains, or blemishes that occur after the product has been received by the customer
  • Expectations of absolute uniformity or perfection in natural materials

Warranty Duration

If a product is repaired or replaced under warranty, the original warranty period continues to apply from the initial purchase date. OLYRIA does not provide extended or renewed warranty periods for replacement items.

Service Arrangements

For customers located within the Sydney metropolitan area, warranty assessments and repairs may be conducted on-site by a qualified technician where appropriate.

For customers located outside Sydney or in regional areas, the furniture may need to be returned to OLYRIA for inspection and repair, with transport arranged at the customer’s expense. In certain situations, OLYRIA may choose to send replacement parts, which the customer may install themselves if agreed upon.

Out-of-Warranty Assistance

If the product is outside the warranty period or the issue does not fall within warranty coverage, OLYRIA may, at its discretion, assist with repairs. Any associated costs, including parts, labor, or transport, will be the responsibility of the customer.
