Understanding the Materials We Use
At Olyria, material selection is at the heart of everything we create. The timber you choose shapes not only the look of your furniture, but also its durability, ageing, and long-term value.
We work primarily with Premium Solid Hardwoods, carefully selected for strength, grain beauty, and sustainability. Below is a guide to the different woods and materials you may encounter when designing your piece with us.
While Olyria specialises in solid hardwood craftsmanship, we believe in educating our customers about commonly used engineered alternatives in the furniture industry.
